in the Val di Fassa
A paradise of skiing,
slopes, lifts and facilities, in the fantastic setting
of the Dolomites of the Val di Fassa
Skiing
in the Val di Fassa, among the Dolomites - the world’s
most beautiful mountains – is a unique experience.
There are seven ski areas in the Val di Fassa and
these are divided between the Fassa and Carezza
skiing zones. Moena, on the other hand, is part
of the Trevalli (Lusia - S.Pellegrino - Falcade)
skiing area. The slopes, lifts and facilities in
the Val di Fassa are part of the famous Dolomiti
Superski skiing area.
The Val di Fassa - Carezza area offers
skiers 57 lifts and facilities for a total of 120
km of pistes; then there is also the Trevalli Ski
Area, which
has a further 26 facilities and 100 km of pistes.
There are pistes for every level of difficulty:
black, red, and blue, and all covered with artificial
snow if the natural variety is lacking. Direct ski
links are available to other valleys, such as the
Val Gardena, Val Badia and Arabba, making it possible
to arrive easily onto the Sella Ronda circuit (from
Campitello and Canazei).
